Anne K. Ellis, M.D.
Dr. Anne K. Ellis is Professor and Chair of the Division of Allergy & Immunology in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University. Dr. Ellis is also Director of the Environmental Exposure Unit and Allergy Research Units at Kington General Hospital.
Dr. Ellis’ research focuses on the systemic mechanisms of allergic rhinitis and potential treatments using the principles of translational medicine, as well as improving anaphylaxis management and education. Dr. Ellis is a named author on more than 60 publications and recipient of the F. Estelle Simons Research Award.
She is current Vice President of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and also serves on the Joint Task for Practice Parameters (JTFPP). Dr. Ellis also serves as Deputy Editor of Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
Dr. Ellis received her M.D. from the School of Medicine at Queen’s University, where she also completed her internal medicine residency and her fellowship in allergy and immunology.
