Julie Wang, M.D., FACAAI

Dr. Julie Wang is Professor of Pediatrics, Allergy and Immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.

Dr. Wang’s research focuses on developing new treatments for food allergies and gaining a better understanding of how patients and their families manage food allergies. She has published extensively on the gaps in the treatment of anaphylaxis including barriers to epinephrine use.

Dr. Wang is a fellow with the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). She is a member of the Joint Task Force on Practice Parameters (JTFPP) and is Chair of the Executive Committee of the Section on Allergy and Immunology of the AAP. Dr. Wang is also on the editorial board for the Journal of Allergy and Immunology and Journal of Allergy and Immunology: In Practice.

Dr. Wang is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Allergy & Immunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
