Meg Smith joins ARS Pharmaceuticals as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of commercial leadership and experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President at Dynavax Technologies, where she built and led the U.S. commercial organization from pre-launch through exit. Under her leadership, HEPLISAV-B^® grew to more than $300 million in annual net revenue, capturing majority market share in a crowded and complex field. Her commercial leadership helped position Dynavax for its $2.2 billion acquisition by Sanofi in February 2026, a deal reached at a 39 percent premium. She served as Dynavax’s enterprise integration lead throughout the transition.

Prior to Dynavax, Ms. Smith spent nearly two decades at Merck during the launches of GARDASIL^® and ZOSTAVAX^®. She designed and led the industry’s first dedicated retail pharmacy vaccination team, establishing the commercial model now standard across the adult vaccine category.

Ms. Smith also serves on the Board of Culver Academies, where she chairs the Marketing and Communications Committee. She holds an MBA from Spring Hill College.
